In this workshop you will learn how your body reacts to stress, benefits of meditation, the different types, and an understanding of how easy it can be.
Meditation has become the quiet place many people are seeking in the busyness of life as we seek inner and outer peace and calm.
There are many types of meditation to choose from. You may have heard it is difficult or impossible to learn, or you may feel it to be daunting. We often hear about meditation as shutting off the mind or emptying your mind of thought. This is not necessarily true. I am here to let you know that meditation is easy when you know how.
In this workshop you will learn:
- How your body reacts to stress
- The benefits of meditation on your body, mind, and soul
- You will be introduced to different types of meditation
- You will leave the workshop with at least one favorite meditation technique that you will be excited to continue practicing
